馬驄 Andrew Ma Cong
馬驄曾獲多個獎學金及比賽獎項,包括新加坡勞力士演奏獎、亞洲莫札特二百周年紀念鋼琴比賽季軍及第一屆中國國際鋼琴香港選拔賽亞軍。
馬驄活躍於演奏事業,曾在澳洲、加拿大、日本、新加坡、美國、內地、澳門和香港舉行獨奏會。一九九六年,馬驄應邀在賀路域茲的私家鋼琴上演奏;九九年,應邀參與祝中國華人民共和國成立五十周年音樂會,並與香港小交響樂團首席關迺忠的《第五鋼琴協奏曲》。馬驄曾與多個樂團合作,計有香港小交響樂團、關島交響樂團、上海廣播交響樂團、新加坡交響樂團及香港管弦樂團。此外,他亦曾為加拿大、上海、廣州、香港等地的電視台及電台錄音。
馬驄於香港演藝學院接受音樂教育,以優異成績畢業。後赴多倫多大學及皇家音樂學院深造,並以一級榮譽畢業。馬驄曾師隨林敏柔、鍾榮達、郭嘉特、利森高及李名強教授學藝。他亦為多個鋼琴比賽擔任評判,並舉行大師班,現任教於香港演藝學院、香港浸會大學及香港中文大學。最近,馬驄更應北京師範大學(珠海分校)邀請擔任客席教授一職。
Ma Cong has been awarded numerous scholarships and awards. He was the winner of the Singapore Rolex Performance Award, the second runner-up in the Mozart Bicentenary Piano Competition of Asia and the first runner-up in the Hong Kong Selection Competition for the First China International Piano Competition.
As an active performer, Ma has given recitals in Australia, Canada, Japan, Singapore, the United States, the mainland, Macau and Hong Kong. In 1996, Ma was invited to give a recital on Vladimir Horowitz’s private piano. In 1999, he premièred with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta Kuan Nai-chung’s Fifth Piano Concerto at the concert in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Ma has also appeared as soloist with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the Guam Symphony, the Shanghai Broadcast Symphony, the Singapore Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestras, and made recordings for radios and TV in Canada, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
Ma graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with high distinction. He furthered his studies at the University of Toronto and the Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto where he graduated with first class honour. He benefited from the tutelage of Margaret Lynn, John Winther, Gabriel Kwok, Brois Lysenko and Li Mingqiang. Ma serves as adjudicator for many piano competitions and gives masterclasses and lectures. He is now Faculty member of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the Hong Kong Baptist University and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Recently, he has been appointed as guest professor at the School of Literature of Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus.
