i) Song 1 – selection from the Rock & Pop book for the grade.
ii) Song 2 – selection from the Rock & Pop book for the grade; own-choice song; own composition.
iii) Song 3 – Technical Focus song from the Rock & Pop book for the grade.

| 87-100 | Distinction |
| 75-86 | Merit |

| 45-59 | Below Pass 1 |
| 0-44 | Below Pass 2 |

For Rock & Pop Drums candidates
Electronic drum kits (EDKs) are now accepted for Digital Rock & Pop Drums exams at all grades. Candidates should ensure that their song choices are suitable for their instrument.
